This is what started it all, a chair, designed as functional sculpture. Inanimate movement in sustainable form. Totally unique, the chair uses the flat planes to reflect the various elements of the chair and its surroundings.

Although the chair looks as though it is more of an aesthetic statement than a functional one, the chair is absolutely comfortable; even for four or five hands of Euchre! The wood components are made from 25 mm thick birch multi-ply substrate with your choice of 6 GREEN veneer choices, finished with an extremely tough, environmentally friendly catalyzed varnish.

The legs are custom fabricated using solid ¾” thick billet plate aluminum which is precisely CNC machined. Then, all aluminum parts are completely polished by hand. Each leg has a nickel plated leveler, to keep 4 on the floor. Pull this out of the box and attach the back support with the 4 machine screws and the accompanying Allen wrench.

NOTE: Chairs can have up to an 8 week lead-time due to the hand polishing. These pieces are made one at a time.
